I hadn’t known much about the hero’s journey before listening, but the example with the Lion King helped visualize what that means a lot. The writing and delivery were really good too, Good job!

Intro was pretty good, it’s very good to realize that this topic does sort of have a simple process. The hero’s journey can be very simple and I like that you touched on the fact that we can definitely compare a lot of books and movies with similar plots, villain motivations and of course the hero’s journey. Good job man

I thought that this podcast was incredibly well done! I’ve been studying The Hero’s Journey and archetypes as of late, so this was very interesting to listen to! I thought that your assay of The Lion King was rather astute, and it reminded me of Dr. Jordan B. Peterson’s in-depth analysis of The Lion King. There is also a documentary series on Netflix by the name of “Myths & Monsters” that breaks down The Hero’s Journey further and compares it to Star Wars, interestingly enough, so I would most certainly recommend that you watch that. This is my first time listening to this podcast, but it certainly won’t be the last!

Funny intro! Background on the topic and the topic itself were explained very well. Writing sounded good too!
