This was a very good podcast episode. Kayla is very informative on the history and also including sound bites of other people saying their family traditions and favorite Thanksgiving foods. While Thanksgiving is very fun holiday to spend with family and eating as Kayla says “way too much food”. I did not know the entire story, I thought it was just a feast between the pilgrims and the natives, not a starting battle grounds. People have completely changed the meaning of this holiday and have forgotten the actual history around it.

Oh this was sooo interesting i loved it. Your voice inflection was really good. When other people joined it was so great, and i love how it was a conversation and narrators. You including movies and other things in the holiday was great and so interesting. The sound effects made it so much more fun to listen to also. Keep making more i loved it.

great podcast I found it very interesting and I enjoyed how you took a story we have all heard and assumed was right and taught me and many others probably that this is a myth and teaching many what really happened on thanksgiving so good job.

This was an awesome podcast. Thanksgiving is by far my favorite holiday and this podcast gives a great overview of the history and the story of what Thanksgiving was all about. I really liked the involvement of other people and their views on what they think and how they celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.

I really liked how present and past were put together and I liked that she got multiple answers from people about the holiday.

I LOVE the use of the Charlie Brown clip! I think this is very creative. People love holidays, especially Thanksgiving, many people know about the origin of Thanksgiving, but not the actual specifics so I really appreciated that. Although some of the things said about the history of Thanksgiving were a little uneasy, I still like how she really went deep into the history of the holiday.

I really admire how you went over the basics of the holiday, then, using interview excrepts you were able to go deeper into issues such as gender roles and pride.

I loved the variety of people you interviewed and the different answers you got, as well as the writing was outstanding which kept it interesting throughout the entire podcast. Another thing I loved were the sound effects, they added a lot of pop to an already great podcast! Finally I loved the topic, it’s a great idea to give some historical context to a well known and beloved holiday.

I liked the sound effects used to add suspense and create a sort of realness. I also enjoyed the subject, not a lot of people talk about Thanksgiving.

This I loved simply by when I saw the title. Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday so I loved the fact that she analyzed this holiday. I also loved the use of Charlie Brown as well. I like how she also interacted with other people to analyze their point of view of the holiday. She also did a nice job of being able to blend all of the history of the holiday together from the past to now as well.
