Trevor Wagnes is a sophomore in his second year of radio, and his first year as a member of the WHJE staff. Trevor loves sports, music, and art, and talks about them to anyone that will listen. In his free time, Trevor enjoys running long distances; he runs cross country for CHS. Trevor likes being a part of the station because it allows him to meet new people and talk about the topics that he is passionate about.
Oscar Joseph is currently a sophomore at Carmel High School. He is a die hard fan of most sports. He enjoys playing basketball with his friends in his free time and loves to play golf. He is a new WHJE staff member and is looking forward to it.
Charlie Dein, Sports Socials and Promos Manager
Charlie Dein is a senior and entering his 3rd and final year on WHJE staff, and his fourth year since joining WHJE. Since he joined staff in Fall 2023, Charlie has worked in the sports department, and is one of the 5 co-hosts of the sports show “The Starting 5”. Charlie has also done many sports broadcasts across his 2 years, including basketball, both men’s and women’s, baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, and football. He will be taking on the role of Sports Social Media Manager & Promo Manager for the 2025-2026 school year. His goal is to enhance the engagement for WHJE Sports and continue his repertoire of sports broadcasting. Make sure to listen for Charlie on “The Starting 5!”.
This is Simon Kahn, a sophomore at Carmel High School. Simon enjoys WHJE immensely and hopes to be a big part of the sports program. He loves all things sports, from playing with his friends to watching sports and even researching them. Besides playing sports, Simon likes to hang out with his friends and be outside during his free time.
