Rianna spoke very clearly throughout the entire thing, with no real editing issues but a few small cut issues. She has good information and sound effects during the podcast, even including some sound bytes from iconic parts of the case itself.

I love how the title really goes well with the beginning of the episode. The title is called “Amber Alert” and right as you click play you hear the uncomfortable siren of an amber alert. Right away you gain a sense of urgency of how scary the situation is. Also in this podcast, I really enjoyed how you emphasized important words in the podcast and really gave the effect of fright and fear in this episode. Overall, this episode was very interesting and I really enjoyed how you included soundbites from other interviews with sherrif’s and citizens.

The research done on the podcast is really well executed. You can tell that you worked hard on the project. I really enjoyed listening to the show and you did a great job creating an image with your introduction as well. The way you spoke was confident and you were good at telling the story. The imagery created with the sound effects was outstanding. Well done!

It was very engaging and interesting. I enjoyed the clips of the news reports and interviews and all of the sound effects are well placed.

I like the commentary on the side. Its almost like were having a conversation with the podcaster. Its different from just stating the facts and then moving on to more facts, It gives the listener a chance to pause and think about what they just heard. Its important in cases like this to let the reader listen to facts and process them because murders of little kids are gruesome.

I personally love mysteries and this one does not disappoint. I never knew about the backstory of the Amber Alert. I thought it was just a coincidence with the acronym that it was an name. It’s really sad that the case is still unsolved, but with the outcomes of the crime, hundreds of children have been saved.

Nice! I liked the use of sound effects such as the scream and the knife slash. It really added to the eerie feeling. I actually didn’t know where the Amber Alert came from, and this has educated me. Good job!

Rianna’s ability to inform the listeners about the history of the Amber alert while making it interesting is amazing. The transtitions in this and the different voices really take this podcast to the next level and it spreads awareness to the community about Amber Alerts and kidnappings.
