When I first started listening, I couldn’t stop. The execution of this podcast is just really interesting from start to finish. The music at the beginning sets the mood well, and the snippets of the interviews adds to the creepy factor.

This podcast was super interesting. I love the sound effects that Rianna used, and also her use of real news clips. Her introduction is super chilling and makes me want to keep listening. I aspire to create a podcast as good and professional as this one.

This podcast is truly amazing. The editing is on point and the clips that you used enhance the story. Your storytelling is also very well balanced with the music that you chose. Overall a great podcast.

The podcast was well researched and put together. The interview audios really added to the overall storytelling. There were some vocal imperfections but really, it didn’t impact the piece as a whole. I hadn’t heard of this case before and found it interesting!

This was actually very professional and kept me entertained through the whole podcast. It also sent chills down my spine at the same time. The most creepy part, in my opinion, is when they discovered that Timothy had been fed fried chicken before he was murdered, because the killer must have done this in irony to Timothy’s mother’s comment in the newspaper about how Timothy’s favorite food was KFC. The details were very disturbing in this podcast, and that’s what kept me hooked, strangely enough. Many people enjoy listening to scary, disturbing stories, and I don’t think any of them can explain why. But, I do know this was a very well done podcast and I will definitely follow up on other episodes, as well.

I am a huge fan of the creativity brought to this podcast, the way she brought in the audience made it seem like I was apart of it. As well as using very strong transitions, it makes for an overall amazing piece.

I really enjoyed the several audio clips they used of news sources and also just overall sound effects too! They really added to the mysterious and eerie vibe of the podcast along with your music choice as well. All in all, Rianna’s voice was very fitting for the podcast which can really a pull a listener into the story and also keeping them engaged throughout the listening experience.

I loved the way that Rianna set the mood for the podcast. She really did an awesome job at making it ominous and fun to listen to. It made me think I was listening to a professional podcast like Buzzfeed Unsolved.

I really like how Rianna set the mood for these podcasts. Everything from the way she talks, to the background music really creates an eerie vibe that fits the story. I also like how descriptive she is when telling about what happened.

As a person that’s super into murder mysteries I think Rianna did a great job with this podcast. Especially with the music/ambiance and voice clips that really set the mood. They aren’t just random clips either, they are used as transitions and it works perfectly. She also did a good job keeping the story clear so it was easy to understand. Over all I actually really enjoyed this podcast and it kept me hooked the whole time.

I really enjoyed the audio clips that you put in, it makes it seem like you yourself are interviewing the families. Your voice is very clear and perfect for the subject matter that you talk about.

Really nice intro and choice of music, they really help to set a dark, ominous tone. You’ve done a great job of creating an ambiance and mood that continues throughout the episode. The transitions are very clean, and the storytelling mixed with external audio bits really helps to keep the listener captivated and on the edge of their seats. The narrations are clear and help to connect the dots within the story. Very well written as well.

the beginning music mixed in with the background music heard throughout the podcast creates a creepy tone, which fits well. the information in the podcast is great along with the sound clips and effects. spoke clearly and sounds great.

I love your voice and how into it you were, i also like all the different voices that were in there along with the radio effects . How you put the evidence in the order you did it made a nice effect. The music was also a great touch on it, it made great suspense. You seem very interested in what you researched. Overall it is a really great work i really liked it.

The soundtrack of the podcast really set the mood for the whole story. It helps the listener know what to feel. Riannas voice also helps set the mood with the way she lowers and slows down her voice. It really pulls the listener in and brings the podcast together. Great job!
Jack • Apr 2, 2020 at 2:49 am
The soundtrack of the podcast really set the mood for the story. It almost gives off the theme of the story, with only music. The narration also sets the mood. Rianna uses her voice to capture the moment by slowing, lowering, and raising her voice. It ties the story in very well.
Paige Ohrvall • Apr 2, 2020 at 1:14 am
I love how you set the scene very clearly at the beginning including all of the creepy details that make the crime unique. It fits well with the music used in the background as well. The inclusion of news clips lends credibility to your claims/analysis and really adds another level of professionalism to the podcast. My favorite thing about your podcast is your objective tone, I also like how unlike other crime podcasts you dont focus so much on your own opinion or reactions to the case but convey the information in a calm clear tone.

The thing that really hooked me on this podcast was at the very beginning when it introduced very scary and interesting music. At that point, I was instantly hooked and excited to keep listening. Another thing that I really enjoyed from this podcast was the previous recordings and sound tapes that introduced and created a vintage mood and feeling. Thoughout this podcast, the background music and the very dramatic narration kept me hooked and interested the entire time.
Spencer Fleischer • Apr 1, 2020 at 11:16 am
She really grabs the attention of the listeners. The use of sound effects enhanced the podcast significantly. It was very easy for me to follow along due to using first-person voice clips for first-person accounts.
Zach Browning • Apr 1, 2020 at 10:37 am
I thought the music choice was perfect for the story, it fit right in. I was able to follow the story easily and understand everything. The different audio clips within the podcast added another element and were very good. You did a great job at just stating the facts and not getting to caught up in your personal opinions.
Sam Eiteljorge • Apr 1, 2020 at 8:09 am
I like how this is about real life mysteries and how you use your sound effects and script to make it suspenseful. You do a very good job pulling us in and making this topic even more interesting then it already is, and I also like how your writing creates good imagery as well
Maylee • Mar 31, 2020 at 3:17 pm
I like the choice of music at the beginning, really sets an ominous, but still childlike, tone. I love your intro of different news broadcasts that feel stitched together. You do a really good job of balancing out interviews and narration. I also like how your writing presents a very objective, but still personal image of the scenes. You don’t go into gruesome detail or pity the victims, but simply tell the story as it happened. I love how you lead us to a potential solution and then immediately revealed that it was a cold case, like slowly leading us up a mountain and then dropping us at the edge of the cliff.
Gavin Mangis • Apr 1, 2020 at 9:29 pm
The sense of Horror in this Podcast is really good as a lot of the sounds implemented into and around the script cause a really good case of narrative and a really good case of sound design.
Hayden Fronek • Mar 31, 2020 at 3:08 pm
I enjoyed the news clips used throughout the entire piece, they added a lot to the story, it really helped to immerse me into the story. Another thing I loved, were the soundtracks that were played. They provided a great backdrop for the wonderfully written story. Finally the transitions were extremely well done, everything flowed seamlessly together.
Katelyn • Mar 31, 2020 at 2:19 pm
This podcast was really good! I like how she incorporated a hook within the first minute that has listeners attached for the rest of it. I also liked how she incorporated news reports from the time of these murders into the podcast. Her transitions were really good, they were clean and smooth and the background music complemented the tone of what she was saying when she did have music.
Austin Rubin • Mar 31, 2020 at 12:33 pm
The story was told in a very clever way that allows the listener to experience a thrilling and intriguing experience. The music and sound effects truly added to the suspense, and my attention was kept throughout the entirety of the podcast. Rianna’s vocal delivery was excellent and expressive, and it helped me to connect to the content of the mystery. Overall, this was most definitely worth the listen!
Elizabeth Kneifel • Mar 31, 2020 at 12:17 pm
I really like the various audio clips you put within the podcast. It makes it really interesting to listen to and draws in the listener very well. It makes me feel as if I’m experiencing the story myself and makes you feel more emotion for the families. The fade in and out of music is also really nice. Music beds aren’t used too much, but they’re appropriate and add another layer to the podcast. Lastly, I like how clear and concise you speak. I can completely understand every word, the tone matches the story, and it all flows very well. I could easily follow the story and I feel like I got a good amount of details.
Tommy • Mar 31, 2020 at 10:27 am
the transitions were very profesional and the podcast is imformative
Sarah Bushue • Mar 31, 2020 at 10:25 am
I genuinely enjoyed listening to this. The clips from interviews and tone of voice kept the entire podcast interesting to listen to, and the music beds tied this together. The story itself was very interesting to listen to, and with Rianna’s setup and execution, the podcast itself is amazing.
Leo Connell • Mar 31, 2020 at 10:14 am
I really like how the video starts with another voice because it adds an effect that makes sure the audience knows its a real case. The evidence that Rianna uses is also very impactful because it adds immense credibility to the podcast. Last, her tone is important because the suspense brings listeners to the edge of their seat wanting to hear the end.
Matthew Johnson • Mar 30, 2020 at 2:40 pm
This podcast had a great vibe to it with the added sound clips, background music , and the voice to top it off. This podcast also builds suspense in the listener which is always is a good feeling for the listener and is kind of a hard emotion to get from someone so good job. Also, Very detailed with audio from the actual case and input from people of importance in the case and the investigation. Really covered all of the story and gave a person great insight to the situation that these people were facing during this time. Overall, Great podcast and keep up the work really good stuff and liked all of the listen. I feel that i learned a lot and it gave really good insight on life and the reality of things that could happen in this crazy world.

I love the creativity that Rianna brings to the podcast. Her ability to bring the audience close to the story and really make it seem that you are in the mystery. Her strong use of transitions along with fades in and out of her and audio clips she used from the case made it clear and simple for me to stay on track of what is going on.
