The use of the audios was very clever and it really added to the story. I also really enjoyed the use of music and sound effects. They really added to the mood and helped create a vivid image of the story in my mind.

the podcast is very interesting and it caught my attention almost immediately.I really enjoy the sounds that the person uses. I also enjoy the clear voice and how there was tons of information. Finally, I loved how I was able to imagine what the scenery looked like.
Natalie Rondeau • Oct 22, 2020 at 9:49 am
I liked the use of bg music, and the use of different audio clips to further explain the story, though i will say that some of the jumps between audio clips was a bit staunch/jarring when transitioning to them!
max • Oct 21, 2020 at 11:10 am
I really like the attention to detail in this and how well described everything is. I love the extra sound effects in the backgrounds, it really gives off a creepy feeling. I also enjoyed the well spoken narration.
Nathaniel Brown • Oct 20, 2020 at 6:10 pm
Wow, this is by far the most interesting and inquisitive podcast I have ever listened to! The visual sounds like walking sounds and a dog barking kept the story going and interacting with the listeners’ like myself. The mysterious occasions that you used as evidence on audio of people encountering the demons are quite breathtaking. Great job on telling this unique podcast!
Milind Chegu • Oct 20, 2020 at 4:33 pm
In general, I loved this podcast. It was very well edited and I liked how you added a lot of different sound effects and music because it made the podcast feel more real. However, the random stops for the sound effects slightly threw me off as they were really not needed and kind of meddled with the podcast a little. Other than that, I liked all the music choices and how the speaker could draw you in very easily. Great job!
jasmine meier • Oct 20, 2020 at 3:37 pm
This podcast was one of my favorites. It really kept me interested the entire time and I love how you added the noises in and the other person talking those small details added so much to this.
jake • Oct 19, 2020 at 9:09 am

Will Goyer • Oct 1, 2020 at 8:15 am
Very well edited and engaging episode! I am a connoisseur of the paranormal and like to hear things of this nature. This was definitely a treat to listen to.
Margy • Sep 24, 2020 at 10:21 am
This is really well done! I liked how you incorporated a lot of different sound effects and music into the podcast to make it more suspenseful. I also liked the story you chose to tell and the dramatic pauses you did for the scary effect. Good job!
Gavin Mangis • Sep 16, 2020 at 8:26 am
I think this is a great podcast mainly because of the suspense and effects added to it to give it more of a dreaded feeling of horror and suspense; Not only this but the speaker speaks clearly and is in tune with his reading.
Ahni Brown Harbin • Sep 14, 2020 at 1:58 pm
I think this podcast is awesome! The music bed and sound effects really help carry on the story and make it more interesting and easier to form mental images. This is such an interesting story and really enjoyed hearing about it!
Sarah Bushue • Aug 18, 2020 at 10:48 am

Emmy Brown • Aug 18, 2020 at 8:02 am
I really like the sound effects, they make the story much more chilling. Also good use of facts and storytelling it really helps bring the story together and along.
Bryan Hernandez • Aug 17, 2020 at 10:02 am
The use of actual audio clips of people who experience the situation at had was really cool and the sound effects the and the audio used for this podcast was impeccable and incredible. If you got an itch or two closer to the microphone I feel that it would make the show more immersive than it already is. It would give an creepy feeling to the listener if that makes sense.
Sam Eiteljorge • Aug 14, 2020 at 2:22 pm
Wow the sound effects really do sell the creepiness vibe of this podcast as well as the dialog. Nice job overall
Tayvin Atkinson • Aug 14, 2020 at 2:07 pm
This podcast was very intriguing to me and I found a huge interest in it. I think the podcast was well explained and exciting. The sound effects were my favorite parts personally it gave me a sense of suspense and fear making me want to listen more. 10/10
Riley Dugan • Aug 14, 2020 at 1:35 pm
You grabbed the audience throughout the story and got them excited for another part at the end! It sounds like you’re having a conversation with the listener which is fantastic. Sometimes the fade in and outs are a little awkward but I love the sound effects, music, and audio clips, it gives it a nice spooky ambiance. Great job!
Ava Beckman • Aug 14, 2020 at 12:56 pm
He talks very clearly, and you are able to understand the story easily, I liked the background music which made it more creepy, and the sound effects (footsteps, shovel, etc) which made you feel more connected to the story.
Ryan Ellis • Aug 14, 2020 at 12:48 pm
The creepy music that plays as he narrates the story really adds something to make it even more eerie. When it cuts to the priest talking,it just makes it feel like a news report and just makes it feel much “realer”
christopher compton • Aug 14, 2020 at 12:43 pm
The Case File
Latoya Ammons purchased a home in 2011 in Gary Indiana, through the year the Ammons family claimed they were tormented by demons, and claimed the house was “the portal to hell”
Throughout the time they lived there the Ammons children also experienced horrible torment by the demon and got taken by child protective services but were eventually allowed back.
carson bough • Aug 14, 2020 at 12:06 pm
i really like this podcasts. He really interacts with the listeners, he doesn’t have a quiet voice doesn’t mess up when he is speaking to. He does a very good job in being a good speaker. like the story it is very interesting to listen to and grabs my attention.
joel • Aug 14, 2020 at 10:28 am
was really good speaks clearly and good use of sound affects for the listeners to feel like they are there
Griffin Hall • Aug 14, 2020 at 10:08 am
the show sounded great I always love a good thriller. the way you had audio clips and sounds was amazing. the one thing I would change from the show Is the audio I cuts out at weird times cutting of the speaker.
Jack Cappaert • Aug 14, 2020 at 10:06 am
The music in the background helps build the atmosphere and the sounds that play also help let you know what was happening. One problem is that the speaker’s voice faded like there was going to be a sound effect when there wasn’t.
Rylie Goyke • Aug 14, 2020 at 9:13 am
This story is so interesting and creepy! All the facts are spoken clearly so I can understand what’s going on.
Matthieu Moreno • Aug 13, 2020 at 2:31 pm
I think it is very a mystery to explain the Paranormal and all the staff happened to them when i listen to it it really incredible because this noises and staff that they hear it is not suppose to happened and it is really strange.
Griffin Raduchel • Aug 13, 2020 at 1:23 pm
I really like your use of the actual sound clip of the priest. This along with the other sound effects add a lot of depth. The music does this as well, however there were a couple spots where the volume was a bit louder than your voice or other sound effects as well as a spot about halfway through where it cuts off sharply. Despite this, there wasn’t any point in the entire podcast where I was confused about anything, you did an excellent job with your clarity of both speaking and explanation.
James West • Aug 13, 2020 at 11:06 am
Hayden keeps a clear message and uses good amounts of sound effects to paint a picture of what is going on to the listener. Background music helps with the mood of the topic and adds interest in the topic.
Anya Moffatt • Aug 13, 2020 at 10:37 am
I think this was really well done, but the random stops for the sound effects slightly threw me off and the fading on some of the speaking points were maybe a little too big. Other than that I really enjoyed the story and was able to keep up with the story.
Allie Wolf • Aug 13, 2020 at 9:22 am
I thought that this podcast was really interesting. The use of music and sound effects added to the creepy and mysterious tone of the story. I think Hayden did a great job telling the story and helping the listener feel what was happening. A few of the fades were too dramatic and it was hard to hear what he was saying, but overall, a great listen!
Via Sarjent • Aug 13, 2020 at 8:47 am
The background music fits the tone of the episode perfectly. It adds another thing to the podcast to strike a little fear. The music and the sound effects help immerse the listener into the podcast. Seems well written and researched. Hayden’s voice is really clear which is very important. My one note of something to fix is that some of the fade ins start while Hayden is talking.
Alec Shalit • Aug 13, 2020 at 8:46 am
I was intrigued by the name of the podcast, and the mystery of this household. Hayden spoke well throughout the podcast as well as made a good use of sound effects. He described the subjects and process as well and kept my interest the whole time.
Nate Patane • Aug 13, 2020 at 8:22 am
I really liked this podcast because of how interesting it was and how Hayden kept a calm and clear voice. The information was really good and the picture helped me imagine the story happening. The picture also helps me know what they lived in and gave me a creepy feeling for the podcast.
Lemuel Williams • Aug 13, 2020 at 8:16 am
Kinda spooky if you ask me and they way they talk is on point
Nick Beckman • Apr 26, 2020 at 11:09 pm
hayden speaks clearly throughout the whole thing. There were times where the fade ins were too strong and start while he’s talking. good use of sound effects to help the listener experience what was happening. the background music fits well and adds to the creepy and scary feeling to the podcast.
hassaan • Apr 2, 2020 at 11:42 pm
This intro was great and caught my attention
Janelle Patterson • Apr 2, 2020 at 5:41 pm
I thought the delivery was very good and the story was easy to follow and engaging. The music bed is pretty cool and very fitting for the story.
Evan • Apr 2, 2020 at 8:51 am

Sarah Paulson • Apr 2, 2020 at 7:59 am
I really enjoyed this podcast! It was very well researched, and extremely detailed. Also, the sound effects were really good.
Maddie Alexander • Apr 2, 2020 at 2:44 am
I really like your delivery. Your tone is engaging and the story is easy to follow since there are pauses with sound effects. The music beds become intense when necessary and I really like the added audio clips. The story alone is very interesting and it is also fascinating that this happened in Indiana. Good work!
Caden • Apr 2, 2020 at 2:27 am
This was over all very good and the sound affects made it even spookier It send chills down my spine and I’m still kinda scared. And overall good speech and very believable.
Kellie Varanka • Apr 1, 2020 at 9:53 pm
It’s great how the podcaster gave background info on the family during the podcast and it’s not just about one person, it’s everyone. The podcaster also set the scene very well in beginning with the music, sound effects, and their tone. They kept the same vibe during the whole podcast which really helps people get into it. It’s also cool how they found real clips from the family.
Gavin Mangis • Apr 1, 2020 at 9:41 pm
The CaseFile sets a really good basis of information for the listener as not once during the entire podcast I was confused about what was being said. Even when I was caught off guard when getting distracted it was easy to catch the plot very quickly.
Cole Vreeman • Apr 1, 2020 at 3:08 pm
This is so interesting and i loved listening. The use of sound effects and the underlying music you had added to the overall feel of the episode, wich was amazing. All the detail you included also added to the feel of the episode and helped me understand how demonic this house was.
Nathan • Apr 1, 2020 at 12:20 pm
Very creepy and well-researched. It is clear that the case had a lot of detail that you found. It is the detail that makes this podcast pop.
Luke • Apr 1, 2020 at 12:00 pm
Hayden, you always know what you are talking about and you get the information out in a smart way!
Luke • Apr 1, 2020 at 11:58 am
Hayden, you always know what you are talking about and do a great job getting the information out in a smart way.
Ralph Brennan • Apr 1, 2020 at 9:09 am
Very well made. Good production quality. I’m a hard line skeptic of paranormal claims and do not believe in any kind or any sorts of paranormal stuff, but this did a very good job immersing me into the story. Very well done!
Kendra • Apr 1, 2020 at 8:49 am
Hayden’s use of sound effects are used phenomenally in this podcast. I liked how he used an effect for the demon, and also used the real sound clip from the exorcism. The sounds make the podcast come to life.
Tori • Mar 31, 2020 at 11:10 pm
This was scary to listen too lol prob cause I listened at night. I loved how he described it. This was very cool and fun to listen too. I mean someone being possessed umm weird. He did a really good jo of capturing all the scary moments
Paige • Mar 31, 2020 at 9:18 pm
I like the sound effects, it really adds to the theme of the podcast. Along with that you’re voice is serious, yet not monotone which is very good and kept me interested.
Ethan • Mar 31, 2020 at 6:08 pm
Very interesting story overall. Told very well too, great delivery and good writing. Production was solid as well!
Kayla Gaerte • Mar 31, 2020 at 4:04 pm
This podcast had a great delivery and tone to the narration. I enjoyed the sound effects being added and the music matched the story. The fade-ins for your voice were noticeable near the beginning and end but it wasn’t too bad. Something I would add would be a pause or build-up before a suspenseful tidbit or fact, just to add extra drama. I loved the real-life voices and would follow those stories that provide the most clips. Great job!
Vanessa Hintz • Mar 31, 2020 at 3:49 pm
I loved the music put behind this story along with the several included details such as how these people seemed to be possessed and the actual clips from the people talking that were added to create a visual for the listeners.
Nate • Mar 31, 2020 at 2:49 pm
I really liked this podcast. Every aspect of the “Portal to Hell” was explained. It was very clear as to what I should take note of and specific information that would be important later. Great job with sound effects, it added a lot of value!
Heather Freedman • Mar 31, 2020 at 2:26 pm
The podcast was really interesting to listen to. The sound effects really influenced the feel for the podcast, and made the listener feel as though they were watching the events take place in front of them. The music beds were really good at setting the tone for the podcast. His delivery was clear and concise, but at some parts his voice faded away and I couldn’t hear him that well. The audio clips really made the podcast a lot better because it added more of a reality check to the listener. It reminds the listener that these events aren’t out of a movie or novel, but told in real life.
Katelyn • Mar 31, 2020 at 1:54 pm
I liked a lot of things that occurred throughout this podcast! The sound effects that were included went along with what was being spoken about, the delivery and script that was used was also very good, it wasn’t bland and it left listeners on the edge of their seat. Overall, I think that this is a very good podcast!
Andy Jia • Mar 31, 2020 at 12:40 pm
I like the background music bed you choose, and also some effect sound, dog sounds. And your script was very good, The more I listen, the more I am interested. Similar to the suspense incident, this kind of podcast makes me sound like I am at the scene. Also the audio you put in from the people in that incident. It gives a feel to me for this is a little scared but I enjoy of listening it.
Elizabeth Kneifel • Mar 31, 2020 at 12:27 pm
I like the eerie music and sound effects throughout the podcast. It adds another layer to the creepy feel of the story and keeps the listener entertained. I also like how you added in some audio clips from the real story. It makes the listener feel like they are part of the story as well. Additionally, your script is written very well. The story is very easy to follow and enough details are given.
Lauren Jacobson • Mar 31, 2020 at 11:10 am
The music was very creepy and intriguing. Your voice sounds really engaged and the use of sound effects was very well done. You can tell that you know a lot about the case. I found this episode really interesting!
grace • Mar 31, 2020 at 11:04 am
I liked the use of sound effects and authentic clips. They, along with the music choice, made the podcast really engaging.
Leo Connell • Mar 31, 2020 at 10:22 am
The episode begins with the background of the people involved and imagery of the house where it happened which I really like because it helps me understand. As he continues the podcast, his tone and sound effects really add to each part of the story and show their importance to the end of the story. He even includes what the family did after, but says that the story is not over and will have a part two. I really like this because it draws the audience back for more.
Sophie Cassidy • Mar 31, 2020 at 10:15 am
The music behind the story makes it that much more convincing. The quote of the man in the middle of the story helped to bring the story to life. Your script is also really good and shows that you are able to draw from research and create an amazing story off of this. The only thing that I would say is that you talk really fast and it is a little hard to understand at times. Overall, this is a really good story.
Bryan Hernandez • Mar 30, 2020 at 2:24 pm
Your use of music beds in your podcast are incredible, they really set the tone for the chilling feeling your podcast is try to achieve and you pull it off well. Your use of audio clips from people who were there and experienced the story you told are also very helpful to your podcast sense it sets proof that the events for documenting or telling about actually happened and set of course a sense of realism but anyway keep up the good work and cant wait for part 2.
Grace • Mar 30, 2020 at 1:18 pm
I really like how you start off describing the house and you give thirty seconds of an introduction before saying your name and what your podcast is about. The sound effects and music work really well with your voice and the story’s mood. The change of voices in the middle grabbed your audiences attention again and gives them a break. The change in voices also adds another layer of reality to the story. The ending is really good because it makes the listeners want to explore the website and keep coming back for more.
Kiyah Wiesenauer • Mar 30, 2020 at 12:38 pm
I love the sound effects you use! They set the mood perfectly. Also the audio clip from some sort of interview is great!
Angie • Mar 30, 2020 at 12:09 pm
I really liked the podcast a lot, the way the story was being told. I actually remember my aunt and uncle lived around Gary around that year but I didn’t that happened!?
Connor Claymon • Mar 30, 2020 at 10:18 am
Overall, the podcast is very well done. The intro gets right into the story, and really hooks listeners in right away. I really like the use of sound effects where they really tell a lot of the story and set the setting very well. Lastly, I like the connection to Indiana and the detail given about the setting.
Sam • Mar 30, 2020 at 8:54 am
I really liked this! This was a really interesting story and the way that it was told kept me engaged the whole time. The script was well-written and researched. The use of music, sounds effects, and audio clips from people involved in the events of this story made it all the more creepy and real. I can’t wait to hear what happens next with this house.
