Master Tracks: Singles; Episode, Virtual Insanity by Jamiroquai
January 24, 2022
In this new spin-off series of Master Tracks, Aidan West and Ella McElroy cover singular songs rather than a whole album. these songs stand above the albums they’re on and deserve an episode dedicated to themselves. The first episode covers “Virtual Insanity” by Jamiroquai, a 90’s jazz fusion band from the UK who has seen great success over the years. This track was the first song on their album Traveling Without Moving, which was their breakthrough album to American audiences.

Your Master track episodes are always really well done and put together in a very fit way. I’ve seen some of the process of you making them and it’s a very professional but relaxed podcast to learn more about unique artist. Great work.

Love the experimentation! Changing the formula, focusing on a single rather than an album, could be a big jump! But the tone, humor, and editing help provide a new experience, while not alienating audience.

Love you Ella, I love the idea of having an episode dedicated to one song. Jamiroquai goes hard.
