On Friday, November 25, the Carmel Lady Hounds took on the Hamilton Southeastern Royals in a Thanksgiving break contest. The Royals got hot early, taking a 23-10 lead into halftime. Carmel was unable to claw back, and HSE claimed the win by a final score of 55-32. Sophomore Izzy Shepherd led the scoring effort for Carmel with 11 points, followed by senior Hannah Lach, who had 9. On the Royals side, the dominant Makalusky sisters were too much to handle, both tallying 17 points on the afternoon.
