Homecoming is here!! After much anticipation Homecoming 2023 is here. All week long here on WHJE we will be reporting as the Homecoming Herald. Each day this week will follow a certain theme for the students to dress as. Today, is Barbie Vs Oppenheimer. The two movies released the same day on July 21st 2023 and instantly became smash hits, with several people going to see them in one day as a double feature. This lead to the mashup of Barbenheimer. A common moniker given to the two movies. Carmel will honor Barbenheimer by dressing as either of the two characters. Here we have Juliette Bailey (Right) comment on her Oppenheimer outfit. “It’s a lot cooler than to take after Barbie. I like the dark colors… and wearing the coat and hat.” On her left is Charlotte Horrocks another Junior here who dressed up in her Barbie inspired outfit. “I watched the movie in the outfit when it came out, so I wanted to recycle the same outfit.” When asked why she thinks Barbie should win she further commented, “It has a lot more creativity than a black trench coat… we’re a lot more diverse than one guy.”

Tomorrow’s theme for CHS Students will be Decades day, so style yourself after your favorite clothing theme of any of the past decades.
