WHJE were awarded the National High School Radio Station of the Year Award at the weekend, during the IBS Conference in New York. This is the third time we have received this award in four years.
We attended the conference with CHTV, who were awarded Runner Up for High School TV Station. Many of their students also won individual awards. Click Here for more details on CHTV.
As well as attending conference workshops, students also visited Madison Square Garden to watch the Warriors beat the Knicks, Six – The Musical, The Empire State Building, NBC Studios and MOMA.
