The Home Opener for the Carmel Varsity Softball team took place at Cherry Tree Elementary School against the cross-town rival Westfield Shamrocks. The Hounds reel from a 6-16 finish to the 2023 season, ending with a resounding 10-0 loss to these same Shamrocks in the opening round of Sectionals. Will the Lady Hounds be able to enact their revenge? Or will the Shamrocks prove to be the dominant force on the Western side of Hamilton County… Andrew Garrison and Evan Bardos are on the call for this season opening thriller.
