This past Friday, February 7th, WHJE was invited to see Peter Sagal live at the Carmel’s Allied Solutions Center of the Performing Arts. This invite included an exclusive Q&A, and free tickets to the show!
Peter Sagal is the host of NPR’s show “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!” a weekly news quiz show. Outside of the show, Sagal is an avid runner, screenwriter, playwright, and novelist. He is best known for his novel “The Incomplete Book of Running (2018)”; his work writing the script that would become “Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights”; and his PBS documentary series “Constitution USA”.
The Q&A was super informative. Our group learned about the power of media in historical events; the current state of media; and how “Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights” came to be.During the show, Sagal talked about producing his docuseries; American history; and the power of the people.
WHJE extends a huge thanks to Julie Shildmyer and the Center’s FrontRow program for inviting us!
