The Carmel Lady Hounds take on the Bishop Chatard Trojans. The Hounds rolled all night but the Trojans kept fighting. Hounds won with a final score of 14-8 against Chatard with multiple girls having hat tricks. Will Engledow on the call for play by play joined along side by Mitchell Weixler for Color. Will Engledow, Beats Manager
Will Engledow is going to be a senior this year and will be a Beats Manager along with Gavin Snyder. Will will also be doing social media graphics on the WHJE Sports Instagram account. Will is super excited to be a manager as well as being a part of his sports talk show with the Starting 5. The Starting 5 will be talking about all things sports ranging from the NFL, NBA, the NCAA, and more. Will will also be a part of the varsity football broadcast crew coming this fall, as host 1. You can also catch Will doing many other broadcasts like soccer and lacrosse. Will is excited to bring big changes to the station and keep Carmel updated on all things sports. Outside of radio, Will is a lifeguard at the Monon and loves watching all Indiana sports.
Mitchell Weixler will be a senior and third-year staff member for the 2024-25 school year. He has been in the sports department for his entire duration on staff. He has broadcasted dozens of games, including Varsity boys and girls soccer, lacrosse, basketball, baseball, and softball. He has received award nominations for the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters. He has appeared on various live shows, including Turn It Up Sports, as well as co-hosting The Hound Pound with Tegan Duke during the Carmel Greyhounds football season.
