Maibel Martell
Maibel Martell is a third year radio student at Carmel High School. As a staff member for WHJE, Martell is apart of the newscasters for the WHJE afternoon news bulletin, and is a co-host for the live show, “Lore Among the Code,” with Parsa Mahmoudi where they discuss the lore and stories behind video games. Martell has also worked on a variety of radio dramas for the station, and hopes to create many more in their future time at the station. Their most recent drama was an adaption of Mary Howitt’s poem, “The Spider and The Fly,” with inspiration from Tony DiTerlizzi’s illustrations, which they directed, wrote, and edited with Sam Falkenstein.
