Hey everyone! My name is Gigi Welp, and I’m this year’s news manager 🙂 Within WHJE, I do news and production work and occasionally I make videos for the station. My work with news has won me IBS’s Best News Promotion award. In addition to bringing news back into the station, I have also started a weekly blog that features two of the many live shows that we have on our station. Outside of WHJE, I am a part of Carmel Cross Country and CHTV, and I enjoy lifting weights and running on my own. I plan on going to IU next year to study broadcast journalism with a concentration in sports media.
