This was another big week for WHJE as many staff members attended the IASB awards at Butler university on Monday. WHJE won runner-up for Radio School of the Year along with many other awards. The full list can be seen at iasbonline.org.
MUSIC SHOW: Our music show spotlight this week is Shaking Up The Station with one of WHJE’s live show managers, Griffin Hall. Griffin goes in-depth on musical technicality of various songs and explores unique facts and stories surrounding songs and artists. Additionally, Griffin features the hottest new songs of the week and spotlights smaller rock, indie, and jazz artists. Any music enthusiasts out there will surely not want to miss Shaking Up The Station every Monday at 4:30 PM.
TALK SHOW: This week’s talk show is The Lounge, hosted by Jack Lear and Landon McHaffie. Jack and Landon give their listeners a news update on the most recent lighthearted news to brighten up the morning. Additionally, The Lounge has a “Florida Man Files” segment where your hosts discuss the most recent Florida Man headlines.
