Aftershock is almost here, but are you ready? From October 2nd–5th in Sacramento, California, the West Coast’s biggest rock festival is bringing four days of nonstop music, special reunions, and rare performances. And they’re partnering with WHJE!
This year’s headliners are massive: Blink-182, Deftones, Korn, and Bring Me The Horizon. And that’s just the start. Their lineup also includes, but is not limited to, bands like All Time Low, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Gojira, Motionless in White, Acid Bath, and plenty more.
Check out their promotional poster for their full lineup:

But AfterShock is more than just music; it’s about community. AfterShock has special bands reuniting, doing rare shows for the festival, and this huge festival brings together the metal, grungy, and pop punk people to rock out, and we at WHJE are supported by Aftershock. The festival proudly supports student run radio stations like WHJE 91.3, helping young broadcasters gain real-world experience while sharing their passion for music. That support keeps independent voices alive and makes coverage like ours possible.
At WHJE, we’ll be spotlighting AfterShock bands on shows like Six Degrees of Musical Separation, The Sound Wave, and The Forgotten and The Found. Tune in for hot takes, artist deep dives, and all the energy leading up to the festival.
