In this episode, Gavin Snyder, Cooper Sanders, Reilly Sweeney, Charlie Dein, and Nate Auch discuss the news surrounding the Super Bowl. Where does this Super bowl rank in the last 10 years? Is Patrick Mahomes in the G.O.A.T. conversation? Will we see more Taylor Swift next year? All of these questions, and more, will be answered in this first episode of The Starting 5.

Gavin Snyder is a sophomore student at CHS and is entering his first year on WHJE. Gavin’s favorite food is cheeseburgers and his favorite drink is Gatorade. Gavin also plays the cello at CHS and he hopes to one day do live commentary for sports games on the station.

Hi my name is Cooper Sanders I am a first year staff member this year. I am currently a sophomore. In radio I really enjoy talking sports with other people who also love talking sports. I also love working with my friends in radio to create something great. My final goal in radio is to have a sports podcast show. Out of school I enjoy to hang out with friends and play golf.

Charlie Dein

Hello! My name is Charlie Dein and I am a sophomore and this is my 2nd year in radio and my first year on staff. I decided to join radio because I enjoy music and making podcasts about various topics in my freshman year. I am looking forward to doing much more in my first year as a staff member!

Nate Auch

Hi I’m Nate! I am currently a junior and I joined WHJE for the goal of being a sportscaster! I’m super excited for this year and I’m super excited to meet and work with new people!

Reilly Sweeney

Hey, my name is Reilly Sweeney and I will be a 3rd year next year. I am in the sports department and have a live show called “The Starting 5”. I am also a swimmer at the high school.
