Last weekend WHJE hosted its annual Radiothon fundraiser to help fund our daily operations at the radio station. We here at WHJE are proud to say we raised over SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS ($6,074.70 to be exact). This is more than DOUBLE our original goal of three thousand dollars, and the folks over here at WHJE couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you to everyone who donated! This money helps us keep our website up and running as well as fund the services that our sports broadcasters use to bring you every CHS sporting event here on WHJE. 

Also a big shoutout to all of our 91.3 Club members! During Radiothon you could have donated 91.3 dollars to join our 91.3 Club! This year we gained 30 new members! For those new members out there and also our past members make sure you keep your ear out for a shoutout on our station! 

This isn’t our only fundraiser this academic year though, upcoming in February 2024 WHJE hosts our Rileython Fundraiser to help the kids at Riley Children’s Hospital! We host this event alongside the Carmel Dance Marathon which just this past year raised $614,170.78 for the kids of Riley! WHJE managed to raise over $13,000 last year to help aid the efforts of Carmel Dance Marathon! This year we set a new goal of $15,000!
