With the Lady Greyhounds now closing in on the last games of the calendar year they sit at 6-3 on the season, with their last game resulting in a 35-32 loss to the Westfield Shamrocks. However, the Hounds have stayed true to their playstyle, very fast paced basketball, living in the transition, and strong defense.
In their last meeting with Westfield the Hounds Freshman Natalie Whelan-Edwards put up 13 points, being their leading scorer in the game, which is also her scoring high on the season. The Hounds also had contributions from Taylee Fisher, Maddy Wallace, Bella Ramsey, and Sydney Bonds in the scoring department.
In terms of future games, the Lady Hounds play against the Fort Wayne Snider Panthers on Saturday December 13th. Fort Wayne Snider sits on 6-4 on the season, which can be well compared to the Carmel Greyhounds 6-3 record.
