Kate has played Golf for Carmel for all 4 of her years in high school. Every year, every fall, Kate has been at the course every single day, practicing and getting better little by little. This year, though, being a senior, Kate says, “it’s definitely a different experience, but it was still fun.” Stepping up and being a leader on a team isn’t always easy, but to Kate it came naturally. 

Kate is so grateful for the time she’s had getting to play for Carmel. She says she’s been able to make so many great memories, connections, and friendships through golf. Kate also extended her friendship beyond just her team. During tournaments, she’s been able to befriend players from other teams, and Kate finds that so special. Kate says that she’s so proud when she hears other teams’ coaches come up and compliment them on how kind they are and how much they love playing with them. To Kate, that was the best compliment to hear because she says she always just goes out there and tries to have as much fun as she can.

Kate is so glad that she got to have such an amazing experience with Carmel Golf. She cherishes all the bonds she’s made and is so proud of the team she’s been able to compete with for all 4 years.
