Day 5 of Homecoming Week was all about showing our Greyhound pride with Blue & Gold Day! The halls and commons were filled with students rocking Carmel colors, and WHJE staff joined in by dressing up to bring even more spirit to the day. The energy was in every student. Everywhere you turned, it felt like Homecoming!
This afternoon, WHJE walked the streets as part of the Homecoming Parade, walking through Carmel alongside students, teams, and organizations, and spreading school pride to the whole Carmel community. Right after, the pep rally kept the hype alive with music trivia and nonstop cheers at the stadium with the trike race. Between the laughter, the music, and the excitement, it was the perfect lead-up to the last day of HOCO week.
Now it all comes down to the big Homecoming game against North Central tonight at 7 p.m. and the dance tomorrow! The stands will be packed, the student section will be louder than ever, and Carmel spirit will be shining bright in blue and gold.
Here at WHJE, we’ll be keeping the energy going with music, plus our pregame and game broadcasts. And don’t forget, head over to @whje_radio on Instagram to vote for which WHJE staff class should win our dress-up contest!
