David is the heart and soul of the tennis team. He perfectly exemplifies the passion and hard work that CHS Athletes have. Ever since his freshman year David has worked hard to make his name known and fight to be a part of the team. Assistant Tennis Coach John Faas told us that when David was first trying out in his freshman year he had covid during the first week of try out and through communication and determination he was granted a extended tryout. That second week David, recovering from covid, went out and showed the coaches why he deserved his spot. David has battled every year and helped make his teammates better. Throughout his 4 year career at Carmel David is a 2 time state champion being a crucial member of the team.
David is proud to have played for Carmel, “one of the best and most competitive teams in the state” he describes making him better every single day. He says the standard set by Carmel has encouraged him to be the best he can and while learning how to be a part of the team.
Throughout his high school career David has shown what is means and what it takes to be a Greyhound. A phenomenal student athlete and friend to all of those he meets. David is greatful for getting the privalage to play at and be a Carmel Greyhound.
